  • Wine tasting at Babylonstoren

    Do

Wander up Huguenot Street - This is the main drag in Franschhoek and you can easily while away a few hours checking out individual shops, art galleries and cafes.

Eat - Franschhoek is heaven for foodies. From fine dining to casual there really is something for everyone and the joy of being in Franschhoek is planning where to eat. I would recommend booking in advance in high season as restaurants fill up quickly.

Wine Tasting - This is wine country! Take the wine tram or visit the estates under your own steam. Personally I prefer choosing a couple of estates in my own time as the tram is a little frenetic.

Outdoor activities - Hike, cycle, play golf or horse ride in the beauty of the surrounding areas.
