Tswalu means ‘a new beginning’ in Setswana and in 2014 it was designated a formally protected area.

A conservation in progress, Tswalu is a luxury safari experience with purpose, a force for good on both the land, the wildlife and the community in which it exists.

South Africa’s largest private game reserve, it is Malaria free and offers some of South Africa’s rarest and most extraordinary wildlife. The emphasis at Tswalu is on privacy and exclusivity and children are welcome at both camps.
