La Fiermontina

La Fiermontina is a 17th century masseria that has been entirely restored and transformed into a masterpiece of elegant living in the heart of Lecce. Inspired by the muse and wife of two prominent French artists, La Fiermontina has a magical story to share through its history and eye-catching artwork.

This stylish urban sanctuary offers an inclusive yet truly luxurious guest experience. The eighteen distinctive rooms and suites combine stylish interior design with a homely and inclusive feel. Star-pinnacled ceilings in the Pugliese tradition enhance several of the rooms and suites, each with a unique layout and all finished with bespoke Italian furniture, custom textiles, European antiques, and original artwork. Many of the guestrooms and suites incorporate views over La Fiermontina’s own olive groves, with some benefiting from private terraces.

Dining is a personal affair at La Fiermontina and the menu highlights Puglian produce and cuisine, ensuring all ingredients are sourced locally and sustainably. Guests can benefit from the flexibility of dining throughout the day, either amongst the olive groves in La Fiermontina’s tranquil garden, or in front of the Leccese stone fireplace within the hotel’s lounge.

In terms of leisure facilities, La Fiermontina is unique in boasting an outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by olive trees, within the city walls. Spa treatments can be arranged in the comfort of guest rooms and the hotel has created a selection of signature experiences for guests to enjoy. The M.A.M.A family museum can also be be booked in order to enjoy a magical private candlelit dinner in these exceptional surroundings, or a private cookery lesson in the museum’s open kitchen.
