Vermelho

Vermelho , the word for red in Portuguese, is synonomous with the man behind this new luxury boutique hotel in Melides.

Christian Louboutin, he of the famous red sole is opening the 13 room property in the sleepy village of Melides just south of Lisbon near its more widely known counterpart, Comporta. Handpainted walls, Portuguese tiles and marble bathrooms complement comfortable spaces with Portuguese chef David Abreu leading the restaurant Xtian.

Nestled on the Alentejo coast this is definitely one to watch when it opens next month.
