Fresh from a $15 million refurbishment, courtesy of Baillie Lodges, the new Silky Oaks Lodge is set to open on December 15 2021.

Silky Oaks Lodge neighbours the World Heritage-listed wilderness of the Daintree National Park. With a reimagined main lodge hub and forty luxury treehouses designed across six suite categories, this peaceful retreat will offer guests an immersion in the natural surroundings of the rainforest. Relaxed fine dining is available in the open air restaurant and bar offering a contemporary style Australian menu with Asian influences. The multi award-winning Healing Waters Spa offers seven treatment rooms with rainforest or river views, including couples’ rooms and Vichy showers. Dedicated sustainability management plans prescribe the lodge’s activities and systems relating to the environment, from water and waste management to energy conservation.
